They say when one door closes another opens, and that could not be more true for us. When the world turned upside down with the onset of Covid and effected so many jobs and lives, it was time for us to put the thinking caps on.

 As a person, I (LaRhee) who has always had a passion and a flare for events and planning  was as if I was being steered off my usual path, literally.  When out for a walk on my property one sunny afternoon I began veering off the beaten path and thinking about all the area we were not using. Areas untouched by anything other than nature, a vision and a dream began. Why not use my skills, talents and perfect piece of land to develop a venue unlike anything in the area, I thought to myself. After discussions with my better half of course and with his love and support behind me it all started.  After several conversations and planning phases it began, We took our untouched piece of land and spent an entire season of blood, sweat and tears, we got to work.  Fast forward and here we are several months later and launching The Hitching Post.
